Hay There

On our way out to Hewitt to visit Garner's parents, he showed me his 10-mile running trail.... So naturally we were driving instead of running since I was with him ;) Along his running trail, we stumbled upon this giant stack of hay and beautiful white picket fence (good thing we had the camera in the car and a little bit of sunlight left!) It was so peaceful with not a soul in site. It's crazy to think that 20 minutes from here is Baylor University with thousands of students and such a busy lifestyle. I love moments like these where you get 5 minutes to take a deep breath and don't have to think about the hundreds of things on your to-do list.

The sunglasses I'm wearing in these photos are the new Ray-Ban Light Aviators. They are made with titanium so they are SUPER light to where it feels like you're not even wearing sunglasses. I hate when sunglasses feel heavy (sometimes they even give me a headache if I wear them for a long period of time!) or when they give you those creases on your nose, and these do neither! So basically I've met my match and I'm never going back.

I've also mentioned in a previous post that I've started trying out new hairstyles, mainly those with cool braids! This hairstyle is what I like to call the "braided headband" because it goes around my head and keeps the rest of my hair out of my face like a headband! What do you guys think? I would love to hear your thoughts or some inspiration for future styles!

What I'm wearing: midi dress (from Roots, similar here and here), gladiator sandals (old, similar here and here), Ray-Ban Light Aviators, tassel braceletsChanel Hydrating Lipshine in "Boy," OPI nail polish
